Dr. Olufemi Mayowa Adetutu

Dr. Adetutu Olufemi Mayowa, M.Sc., (Ph.D. in view), is a Demographer, Statistician, and a Public health researcher. He currently teaches and conducts research studies at the Obafemi Awolowo University, Nigeria. He has M.Sc. degree from the same University and currently at the advanced stage of his Ph.D. studies. Olufemi has over 4 years’ experience in teaching and research as a faculty member at Obafemi Awolowo University, Nigeria. He has made presentations in national and international conferences including one at the Family Research in Africa and Post-2015 Development Goals Conference in June 2016, Johannesburg, South Africa. He is a CARTA Cohort 7 Fellow, a consortium, training African doctoral students for quality Ph.D. work. His Ph.D. work is on Contextual Determinants of Sexual Behaviour of Emerging Adults in Nigeria. Olufemi has published 5 articles in peer-reviewed journals. He is currently a lecturer at the Obafemi Awolowo University, Nigeria. His research interests lie in the areas of sexual and reproductive health outcomes of adolescents and emerging adults in transition to adulthood and family demography. Olufemi has a forte for reading and watching football, especially Manchester United.
