Dr. Olufunmilayo O. Banjo completed her Ph.D. in 2015 after which she proceeded for one-year postdoctoral training at University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg, South Africa in 2016. Her doctoral research was about how women’s status in terms of empowerment, autonomy in decision making and their attitudes to gender roles have been able to influence their fertility behavior as regards the number of children they have and their use of contraceptives. Her research interest is on Women and their reproductive health & behavior; as well as sexual and reproductive health and behavior of the physically challenged Secondary School Students. She has a number of publications in reputable local and international journal outlets.
